The primary topic of the August meeting will be a discussion of HTML
Forms and CGI scripting. Ray Jones will do the main part of the
presentation.
Back yet again by popular demand, Ray Jones will also be doing more
``Stupid vi Tricks'' presentation -- you may be amazed at what that
much-maligned editor can do.
Examples of forms and forms programs
- phone.html - a form with "Select a Name" options.
- celest.req - cgi-bin shell script to process the request and send information via E-mail.
Error logging and checking examples from the above scripts
- cgi.err - a shell trace of the program in action.
- line - the line of data from the browser to the cgi-bin script.
