October Seattle Unix Users Group Meeting

    Topic:  Maximizing web server performance: mod_perl vs. FastCGI

     Cost:  Free

John Cokos of iWeb Inc. will discuss writing perl-based web programs using mod_perl and FastCGI. He will present performance benchmark data and source code comparisons, and discuss the differences in the two technologies from both the programmer's and the system administrator's point of view. He will discuss the impact of both technologies on the raw load and overall efficiency of the operating system.

Parking garages will be locked after 6pm. If the circle drive 
is full go up the hill to an outdoor lot.
