Linux when it is so much better than the Windows tool?"
Come to our meeting and share your experiences with the
Seattle Unix Users Group. Bring your ideas
and a friend and participate in our ongoing series of discussions
on comparing Linux and Windows.Note new meeting location! Seattle Vocational Institute, 2120 South Jackson Street, Seattle, WA 98144. The parking lot and "our" door is on the north end of the block on S. Main Street. Park on Jackson or (better) in the parking lot behind the Institute. Enter the building and look for a sign for the room/floor number. It will probably be room 401 on the fourth floor. (Take a left out of the elevator.) From I-90: Take I-90 east- or west-bound, exit on Rainier Ave and go north. Take Rainier Ave to Jackson, turn right and go east to 22nd. The institute is on the north side of Jackson. After you pass the institute, turn left, go north 1 block and turn left into the parking lot. From I-5, traveling south: Take James St. exit (165A), stay in left lane until turning left onto James St. Turn right at Boren and go generally south past Yesler. Turn left on Jackson and go east to 22nd. The institute is on the north side of Jackson. After you pass the institute, turn left, go north 1 block and turn left into the parking lot. From the University District:Take Montlake Blvd. going south (it turns into 23rd), pass Yesler and turn right at Jackson. The institute is on the north side of Jackson at 22nd Street.
