Why do long-time Unix advocates find Mac OS X so appealing? Glenn will discuss the Mac as a development platform, portable computing environment, and a status symbol. Glenn's Practical Mac column in the Saturday, October 19 Seattle Times will cover some of this, too!

Meeting location:

See map and/or call Myrio front desk for directions at 425.897.7200. Myrio is located in the building with the address 3000 that is to the right of the traffic circle. Turn right at the traffic circle, drive past the building and park. Enter the building from the side facing the lake. We suggest you arrive by 7 p.m. - if you arrive late, you may not be able to gain access to the building.
