I will review security issues such as:

  • Known vulnerabilities in TCP/IP (spoofing, session hijacking, SYN attack, etc.).
  • X server port blocking and X forwarding with SSH.
  • Web security issues.
  • How to defend against port scanning.
  • Vulnerabilities in the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) algorithm.
