The January 2003 presentations for the Seattle Unix Group meeting will include a brief discussion by Louie Swalby on use of IMAP and LDAP directory services in a corporate environment, where the directory solves problems for message store among multiple servers, as well as provide a convenient way to create corporate distribution lists. In the main presentation, Bill Campbell will expand on his discussion of setting up and configuring a local messaging server and also his use of the openpkg portable package. Meeting location: See map and/or call Myrio front desk for directions at 425.897.7200. Myrio is located in the building with the address 3000 that is to the right of the traffic circle. Turn right at the traffic circle, drive past the building and park. Enter the building from the side facing the lake.
