Bill Campbell will discuss the new Seaslug.org web site which is running on Zope with the Plone content management system. This will include a short tutorial/demonstration on simple web site maintenance using the Zope and Plone tools. This will cover:
- Joining a Plone site (e.g. becoming a Member)
- Creating folders
- Creating simple web documents using structured text
- Creating links to other documents or sites
- Uploading files to the site
- Publishing and work flow

Meeting location
Here's a map of the meeting location. Take Highway 405 and exit to go EAST at the NE 8th St. exit in downtown Bellevue. (That's the eastbound NE 8th St. exit, not the SE 8th St. exit.) Go approximately one quarter mile east on NE 8th St. and turn RIGHT on 120 Ave. NE. Go past the Home Depot store on your right and continue until the road begins to turn to the right (west). At this bend, continue straight and enter a driveway leading to a number of buildings. The first building on the right (west side) is 11911 NE 1st St. Drive to the back (south side) of this building and park. The entrance to the building is on the south side. Mosaic Technology is in Suite B 304 (third floor). If these directions are not clear, call Mosaic Technology during business hours at 425.462.5004.There is plenty of free parking all around the building. We recommend that you arrive by 7:15 p.m so you can gain access to the building.
